Smittybilt front tube bumper

i recently acquired a classic smittybilt tube bumper for 100 bucks but the only problem is i forgot to grab the brackets for it, does anybody have pics of brackets from their smittybilt bumpers? i have thought about calling smittybilt and just ordering some brackets but making them is also an option, any pics of anybodys bumpers? thanks

Not much too it. I've got the bumper off my truck right now, should be able to get a pic of the brackets when I get back home in the next couple days.

Your best bet at this point would be to ship them to me for $200 cash and just cut your losses.

its baffling me, because the "same" bumper was on my friends 92 4runner as well, then he sold it to his uncle and his uncle put the stock on back on BUT as i was standing in the yard a big YJ sits behind me... and i know smittybilt made the same bumper the wranglers as well... his uncle said he would take a look for these so called brackets but i dont even think this bumpers for this truck... which is ˟˟˟˟ty cuz i already paid 100 for the bumper and another 60 bucks to gator guarding it

here's what the brackets look on the back of my bumper:

longer bracket goes to the body mount, and the shorter one to the bracket pictured above.

Do the three holes on the bumper and the two holes on the truck align? Meaning, if you put them on the same plane, do both mounts line up with each other...?

Just make a triangle with the three holes on one side and two holes on the other side...

That is all the mounts are..

I have the same bumper (but in the winch version)

The other mounts shown are for a 2nd gen pick up and that is why they look wrong..

What you have right there is a jeep bumper.
You can make it fit with a little ingenuity, a grinder, and a welder.

No, it is not a Jeep bumper.. Jeeps are flat across the front and the bumper is obviously contoured...

That is the exact same bumper I have on my 92 pick as stated and just needs a couple pieces of flat plate stock to make brackets.

like i said i tried to mock it up as best as i COULD, its probably about a .5" - 1" outta wack cuz its not mounted, but if it were to be mounted the bumper mount wouldnt be far from where it is in the picture, so i dont think they would line up, im not sure about being on the same plane either i have to find something to better mock up the bumper accuratly
