Cardone or Trail Gear for PS gear box
Are the trail gear PS gear boxes better than an A1 Cardone that I can pick up at O'reilly's? The Trail Gear would be cheaper, but I would have to wait for it in the mail. However, I am more concerned with failure down the road.
I have been putting in used ones and taking my chances, but they all end up leaking or too worn out.
Thanks!

No more leaks and I can turn right again!
Thanks for the advice on the gear boxes, but I gave Lucas A/T stop leak a shot and it actually seems to have worked. My other problem I was having is that after the 2nd gear box install I couldn't turn all the way to the right.
After sorting out other little issues with the truck, I was happy to have it back, but the bad turning radius to the right had me bothered. If I had to replace the gear box again, I wanted to make sure it was solid. Hence, the original post.
Now that it wasn't leaking, I decided to tackle the turn radius. I thought I had the pitman arm lined up incorrectly, and though it was off by one mark, that wasn't the whole issue.
After disconnecting the pitman arm, I counted turns of the steering wheel and centered the wheel and thus the gear box and marked the wheel with tape so I could check it for movement as I put it all back together.
However, even with the wheels off, I was missing about a half turn to the right!.
I thought the culprit was the steering stabilizer, but that was not the issue, so I went after the tie rod ends. Something was physically limiting movement. At first, I just lengthened the one from the drag link to the pitman arm, but that didn't do it so I went to the passenger side and let that one out enough to allow it to turn to the stops. I buttoned everything back up and went for a test drive.....Right turn city!
i still have to get the wheels aligned since I just added springs too, but it drives pretty good for now. Oh, yeah, the jam nut on my driver side drag link was loose, and I think that's what eventually led to my shrinking drag link.
Anyway, I wanted to share in case anyone else had an issue like this.
