Ok after having a few stock yotas in my past I decided to buy one with a few things done to it and continue building it further. I' not new to modding car but new to modding these trucks so any input is appreciated. My truck is an 89, 4 inch suspension lift, 3 inch body lift, 35s, and the previous owner swapped it to a 22r instead of a 22re. My future plans include 5.29s, with lockers front and back.

 

I use to know the owner of that truck. Its a great running truck far as i kno. What did you end up paying for it.

 

1500. I wanna put it back fuel injected asap!

 

I hear ya man i dont know if he left the ecu and wires for the fuel injection it will be a pain if he didnt. If it was me i would put a header open the exhaust and a webber carb and go with it. oh yea welcome to yota tech do alot of searching before you ask questions people get mad when they get a bunch of questions thats already been askd and answerd. Oh yea do you live in the county if so i may be able to hand a hand if you need it

 

I live in giles county. Its got a header on it i just need a weber carb. No ecu but the wiring is all there so. I recently found a donor truck but they want too much for it. Know of any yotas for sale around that i could get the parts from?

 

I know theres a truck bout that year model out at duct croeys dont know whats been took off or whats there i was going to try and get the radiator out of it. If i find any others i will let cha know. Like i said im in pembroke if ya need a hand on anything. Im bout finished with mine all i really got left is 4:88s locker in the rear, rear bumper and maybe sliders.

 

Yea that's the one I'm talking about he wants 750 for it. Everything is there too. I really need gears in my rig asap.

 

Yea i wished i would have went ahead and spent sum money on them for mine i was more worried bout preformance but in the end my truck prob would have run better with the rite gears. I cant beleive he wants that much for that truck i would prob go 300 on it but no more than that. I need a radiator bad

 

Yea i offered him 350 but hes dead set on 750. Its complete though. Are you good at setting these gears up?

 

never dun it b4 but when it cums time ima have to do it myself cause i dont got the money to have someone set em up for me. I got a buddy that could either walk me through it/if he has time maybe help he put 5:29s in his 89. The gears should cum with instructions lol long as you follow step by step should have ne probs.

 

So you know shavez? I need to find a breather for my truck while im getting together all the parts to go back EFI.

Yea i know him him and my cousin hangout. I have all the stock piping and breather box even the maf. If you want it ill let it go i dont need it anymore i have this setup. How does 50 dollars sound and ill even deliver it lol

The 4:88s are they complete 3rds or just the gears?
