Tundra brake compatible with manual hub conversion

I have started the process of gathering up parts to do a manual hub conversion on the 4runner. I currently have the big tundra brake swap installed and before i get to deep into the research and rounding up of parts, does anyone know if this setup would be compatible. In other words, does the tundra brake conversion work on Tacomas with manual hubs?

thanks for clearing that up, i was backwards. I thought that the ABS tone ring had to be pressed into the tacoma knuckle, which makes my original question a pretty dumb question. guess i have some more reading to do.

I'll be doing it this week. I'll let you know. I have the 231mm calipers. I have tacoma spindles and I have to press the "junk" out of it and into my 4runner spindles to keep my ABS.

Not sure if you've tackeled this yet but yes. The 231mm tundra brakes will work with the manual hub swap. I also kept my ABS. If you have questions send me a PM.

Hey guys,

I am a F.N.G. on this site so if this is not the right place to ask I am sorry. Anyways I have an 03 4runner that I would like to change the brakes and probably the calipers. Is the Tundra swap the way to go? Or is there a better way? And what do I need?
