This is very odd. I know 93 had 2 different styl caps depending on what coil the truck has, but both caps use the same rotor button, so my question is why, with the cap tightened all the way down, is the rotor button gouging out a line on the inside of the distributor cap? I have the correct cap for the style of coil so thats right.

Are you sure the rotor is seated all the way? I know it seams like a no-brainer, but stranger things have happened.
