91 3.0 vacumes clogged

After inspecting my egr and vacumes I found the steel tubes over the engine were clogged from a bad egr. Got a new egr, so is it ok to bypass the steel tubes with rubber lines? Please let me know

Was your truck acting up before you fixed the line?

Definitely gotta check out the lines on my truck. What kinda issues were you having with it when the line was clogged?

Have you tried using compressed air to blow out the steel line?

If your EGR spat so much gunk that it clogged the steel line, I wonder what the inside of the intake plenum looks like?

You might consider pulling the EGR tube that goes into the plenum to see... if it is caked with carbon and sludge, you should clean that too. Getting rid of that gunk really helped my 3vze run more smoothly, during acceleration and at idle.
