while i was going to head to some local trails, i locked my hubs and i drove about 3 blocks with no issues. Then all of a sudden i started to hear some grinding noises coming from the front. i have an 84 pickup with 8" lift extended driveshafts, 5.29 gears warn hubs and 35" tires. any help would be greatful.

 

also to note i was in 2H. so i know the transfer case wasn't engaged just the front driveshaft and front axle.
