90 4runner p/s box in 87 PU

I am trying to convert my manual steering over to power steering.

I have my eye on a 1990 4runner power steering box, that I am probably going to pick up tomorrow.

Will it bolt to the frame on my pickup or will I have to make modification

it will botl on, I have one from a 92 in mine. However, the 89-95??? box itself is a little longer. Meaning somehow you have to shorten the steering shaft maybe an inch. Which is somewhat easy if the adjustment collar near the firewall inside the engine bay isn't seized like mine was.

I had to basically squish the heck out of that rubberish yoke thingy (can't rememebr what it's really called) in order for mine to go in. Drawback to that is a little more vibration in the steering wheel.

Keep in mind the pitman arms are different between 4wd and 2wd. But I believe the box itself is the same and a 4wd pitman will fit on a 2wd steering box, but don't quote me on that as I am not 100% sure the boxes are the same.
