Help figuring out optimum tire/wheel setup to gain stance width

So I have 36x13.50r16 IROK radials, on 16x8 wheels, with a backspacing of 4" and offset of -15. I need new tires very soon, and am torn on what setup to go with. I have an 85 Yota axle, with the modified IFS hub body, so I am sitting at stock width on the axle. I am trying to get as much width out of the tire/wheel setup as possible, the truck sits a little too tall and narrow for my liking with the current setup. I was pretty much decided on getting the 35x14.50r17 IROKs, but after trying to find the 17x10 rim they require, I have found it is very hard to find. According to Interco's site, the current 36x13.50r16 I have now requires a 10" rim as well, I bought the current setup used, and already mounted, but don't know if it really is an issue being that it is not mounted on the called for rim width.

I have found a few rims that I like such as the Dick Cepek DC2, which is available in a 17x9 with a backspacing of 4.5" and -12 offset. Would this rim be safe to run the 35x14.50r17 on, even though it is 1" narrower than what Interco calls for? With the extra 1" width on the tire, and the difference in backspace, offset, and rim width, would I gain much width at all on the stance? Another option is to run the current 36x13.50r16 size with the available DC2 in 16x10, with a backspace of 4.5" and offset of -25. I am open to other rims to choose from too.

Another thing to worry about is clearance with the caliper, as a previous set of wheels I had contacted the caliper on the front.

Either way, I am basically asking the tire/math gurus to figure out my optimum tire/wheel setup to gain as much stance width as possible. I know of a nice tire/wheel comparison tool online to use, but it only accepts metric numbers, not standard.

that 9" wheel would be fine for that size of tire
so you are going to switch to a non-radial?

No I am staying with a radial IROK.

Would the extra width of the wheel give me more width as well? I know it would depend on backspace and offset as well, but generally will it widen the tire out with a wider wheel?

sorry i was looking at 37s not 35s
most important thing is going to be the bacspace
little as possible will make it wider
