Pitman arms are solid chunks of metal and don't wear out typically. You're idler arm is a commonly known wear item. Numerous threads on beefy idler arm upgrades.

Bj spacers and a rear aal or block.

wabbit the pitman arm on the IFS trucks have a rod end on them they do wear out. Your thinking of the crossover steering on a SFA/SAS pitman.

If your gonna get a new idler arm stay away from the moog arm, get the FA5040 from autozone. IMO just as good as stock if not better. Only true upgrade to the idler arm is total chaos idler. Or an idler arm brace, but they only fit the FA5040 arms.

That's a TRE in the pitman arm that wears out, not a pitman arm.
