FattMaanLittleTruck's 87 pickup build
Hello everybody!
I've recently joined the Toyota club.

[U]
here's a picture of the day I got it. The back bumper is on the front (dumb PO)
They did a good job bobbing the bed

But forgot to chop off the extra frame

When I first got it, it leaked oil all over the place.
I really thought I had a bad main seal leak. I replaced my valve cover gasket and the plug at the back of the engine was terrible. solved about 95% of my oil leakage problem. The past PO's really did a number on it. It used to be EFI. Someone got lazy, lost the key or stole it, and ripped out most of it, key cylinder, door locks.
Right now I've got custom push button start but that is going to change very soon. We replaced the door locks, so at least I can sleep a little bit better at night knowing my truck will most likely be there when I wake up
I took a little video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUNI96pePCQ
Specs:
September 1986 body std, 1987 SR5 frame/title
1986 22r (I assume) with 178,000(I assume)
Manual steering (sucks with 33x12.5)
Weber Carb
Plans:
Bucket seats
Power steering
Efi
Solid front axle (down the road)
Dual cases
Engine swap
ARB lockers and 5.29's (way down the road)
37"+ KM2's
Daily driver.
Freebieees!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0JvV9KiOLU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kU7S8xBP3Og
