The spare is hanging from a chain under the bed and yet I see no way of releasing it. Please help

 

Greetings There should be a long rod behind the seat, attached to back cab wall, with a clip. Take that and go to the back of the truck, above the license plate there is a hole to put the rod in ( sounds kinky ) and start cranking. This will lower the tire, crawl under and lift up on the tire, fiddle with the chain and slide out with the spare. Repeat to get the spare back to where it belongs. hope this helps
