problems with lifting my 94 its on jacks i cant drive it till i fix

hey guys i went to stick lc coils and bj spacers on my t4r and i realized the bumpstop in the rear is broken off and laying loose inside the stock spring and where ist connects to the top is rusted out..is it absolutly urgent to replace it b4 driving (on road)? also, i dont have a ball joint separator how else can i get it separated? thanks!!

a bump stop isn't really a safety issue especially on a coil sprung truck, it's more of a comfort thing and to prevent from blowing out a shock. Many of us leaf spring guys are missing their bumpstops mine included. It's more of a safety thing on the leaf spring guys because of the possibility of snapping a leaf, but not really an issue too much on a coil.

Now of course if you don't want to pull those coils out again to put a new stop in there, then ya might want to wait but it sounds like your already half way through.

you can use a bfh to remove the ball joints. or rent a puller from the auto parts store.

If you're wanting to reuse your ball joints I wouldn't use a pickle fork and BFH on them LOL. Just unbolt the 4 bolts on top and leave the BJ in place if you can. Personally I replaced my BJs while installing the spacers.
