Door hing replacment, and a new door?

hey, yesterday i backed into a sign at a gas station with my door open, bent it back to about 90deg with the body, but it bent the door hinges up pretty bad, it also messed up the door, and mabey the fender, i cant tell on the fender yet, anyone know how much a door will cost from a junkyard? or should i just fix and repaint the one i already have?

thanks
wade

All I can see when I read this thread is Tommy Boy.
Depending on how bad everything is it might be easier to replace the parts. A complete door should run you around $150 to $300 depending on condition but I haven't looked around for a Taco one. The hardest part would be finding one that matched your color. Can you post some pictures so we know how bad your door is.

yeah, ill get pics, im hoping i got a digi camera for x-mas so if so pics will be soon, if not ill get them pretty quick i have to get some pics of my sammie, and pics of my s-10 i just got for parts....

the body shop i use said that it would be 1500 bucks to fix, so imay turn it into insurance, keep the cash and fix myself, not sure yet if theyll even do it or not cause i caused the damage, but im gonna try.
