That sounds great!! We will need to meet kinda early to get a full day in. We could meet in Julian like our first run out there. Lets plan a good one.

That sounds fine, is that bakery near the gas station? Thats where we usually meet. If you've got the 2way radios bring those too, I don't think everyone has cb.

coyote...

Now maybe this is just a rumor, but...

I heard that Dudleys burnt down in the fires, not that we can't meet there. Just not as fun to meet and eat anymore.

But as I said just a rumor???

I am not sure if it burned or not. I think we should just meet at the gas station in Julian. There is room for trucks on the side near the restrooms and air.

It's right on the corner of 78 & 79 on the left if you're coming from 8E. Pretty good spot because of the extra parking. That's where me and marc ran into the guy from vegas on our way back from ocotillo.

anybody think of a time how about 8 or 9 oclock that way i can pig out before we go. i'm so looking forward to this i will finally get to feel how my front locker will feel in some rocks. does anyone remember the combo to the gate from last time or do we have to stop at the ranger station. if so maybe we should go with the earlier time.

I think 8am IN Julian is a good time to meet. Just be sure to pig out before then.:pig: We'll still have a good distance to drive to the trail, and with a good 2 hour drive home, the earlier start the better. This is about the same time we started last time, and I still didn't get home until 4pm. I think we made pretty good time on the trail with only 3 rigs going.
Last time the gate was open, no combo necessary. I'm not sure if they lock it anymore. We'll just have to cross our fingers.

One more thing.. Just want to clarify. Is it the gas station you guys are talking about in Santa Ysabel? or is it the smaller one further down near Julian?

It is the small one in Julian (only 1 there). On the corner where the 78 and 79 merge.

I will bring it Rob. Someone should bring a dvd player so we can watch it at lunch on Sunday. I think I have seen most of it 3 times now.

You might post on 4x4 wire. I forgot my password, and have changed my e-mail address so I will need to set up a new account.
