Got my usual JEG'S catalog today and was thumbing through it and noticed this seemingly neat little item.....

This system seems to me to be a little better as it's being bypassed until your oil heats up, thus allowing your engine to warm-up faster and more efficiently. Just wondering if anyone has used this or knows anyone who has and if they noticed a difference in gauged oil pressure at prolonged operating temp. I'd think the only possible drawback would be how it affects oil pressure to the engine when it is in the opening mode. I'm thinking about getting it, for the price with the hose and a mini cooler it might be a good investment.....
