I would check the plug wires to make sure there good, even new plug wires can be bad. Also check the coil, sometimes the coil can get a crack in the plastic and it can arc through the crack to ground. The same thing can also happen to the distributor cap. When you replaced the cap, rotor plugs, and wires did you use oem replacements ?.

Or are you talking about the hall-effect / pickup wires that run from the distributor to the igniter?
^^^this and

if it's arcing from the dizzy to coil, I want your coil that's a pretty strong coil ya got there. lol.

Or do you mean arching front the coil to coil plug wire that go to the dizzy, or the coil wire to dizzy. Or the wire harness to/from the igniter from the coil.

I bought a V6 with 170k that did this... It had the original plugs and wires on it.

There was so much resistance in the wires it was trying to find a path out and arced like crazy.

Changed the plugs and wires and it ran like a champ.
