Beck Arnley Ball Joint Pictures

Hey Everyone ... this just an FYI thread :-)

I was shopping around to purchase a new set of Ball Joints (upper & lower) for my pickup and I wasnt sure which brand or the place should I buy them from.

Obvious pick was buying at the Local Dealership ... but the prices were way too expensive. Online toyota dealers are much more affordable.

Long story short, These were the price quotes I got:

Oreilly / Kragen: $54.99 for Beck Arnley Brand (Upper)
Auto Hauz: $54.96 for Sankei 555 Brand [http://www.autohausaz.com
Dealership Local: $78 for Toyota Brand
Toyotapartszone.com: ~$53.74 for Toyota Brand
Rock Auto: $33.89 for Beck Arnley Brand (Upper) [http://www.rockauto.com

I really wanted to go for either OEM or Japanese Sankei '555' Brand .. which I heard are the best! For some odd reason, I cheap'ed out and went for Beck Arnley

I got the parts in the mail from Rock Auto today and noticed that the upper Ball Joints from Rock Auto are actually Japanese '555' Brand re-labelled as 'Beck/Arnley' .. Score! Cheap and OEM

Here are the Pictures:

1. Upper Ball Joints from Beck/Arnley - Part # 101-4149

2. Lower Ball Joints from Beck Arnley - Part# 101-4879

Didn't get lucky here since the part is not from Japan, but from Korea and is not the same as Japanese OEM quality .. it was super cheap at $24.79

Hope this helps someone who is the same situation as me!

Beck Arnley parts are actually pretty good parts, ive used them before on other toyota trucks that ive had, and ive never had any problems with there parts.

For my ball joints, I went OEM from my dealer, but I work there so I got all 4 for $197 including 6% PA tax

Most of the time, Beck Arnley parts are rebagged OEM parts, which is why I tend to buy them over most aftermarket brands

The housing/ casting will rust after the first good rain you roll through. Just FYI.

I wish I wouldn't have cheaped out on moog/555 and went with OEM instead.
