1992 Toyota Dually(automatic) question

I have to tow a 92 dually tomorrow and am wondering if I have to remove driveshaft. Does anyone have specs? what wrench/sockets I will need?
also could I not put it in neutral and leave it running?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If the rear wheels are going to be on the ground then yes, you will have to remove the rear shaft. Unless your only going a short distance, 10 miles or less. I would say.

Even if you leave it running with it in neutral, it will cause damage, the rear shaft wont be getting lubrication while it spins with it in neutral, causing heat damage

I'm not sure as to the socket size, I would imagine its the same size. Your best bet is to take a socket set with you.

stock im pretty sure its 14mm, but they can easily be changed. i have changed the ones that ive lost for grade 8 9/16. so just bring a socket set with you.
