Check Engine Light Burns Lots of fuel (MAF?)

Hi so I was doing some research and a lot of people have had success cleaning their MAF sensors and I would like to clean mine (95 3vze) but cant find a specific image of it or a thread about the 3vze, I have taken the metal top off my air box but have not opened it up yet.

Does the 3vze even have a MAF?

I am running stainless piping for intake tubing (removed the stock). But I am burning alot of fuel (yes its cold out) I have never had this bad of mileage maybe 200 miles to a tank. And its seems to be running really rich (smokey).

Any help is appreciated. thanks.

what code is it throwing? When a check engine light is on, typically the ECU will send more fuel to the motor to "protect" it. Since running a little rich is better than running lean.

I dont have a programmer to plug it in, so no idea. maybe tomorrow I will run into town and see if our local mechanic has one.

These 3vze don't have a MAF do they so there is nothing to clean?

It don't have a MAF but it does have an AFM which might be why your having trouble finding it.

There is also ways to check the codes via a simple paperclip.

ok so I got

24...
INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL--OPEN OR SHORT IN INTAKE AIR TEMP. SIGNAL
--INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE CIRCUIT
--INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
--ECU

25...
AIR/FUEL RATIO LEAN INDICATOR--LEAN SIGNAL SENT TO ECU FROM O2 SENSOR
--INJECTOR FAULT(S)
--FUEL PRESSURE
--OXYGEN SENSOR
--AIRFLOW METER OR MAP SENSOR
--IGNITION
--ECU

31...
MANIFOLD AND/OR AIRFLOW METER SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT
--AIRFLOW METER/CIRCUIT
--MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR/CIRCUIT
--ECU

Now what I really was hoping to get one code but here they are. Frick!

ok so I cleaned just about every electrical plug on the ecu and vafm and am now only getting code 25 (sweet)
I am guessing a new o2 sensor should fix this, 25 means lean condition I am wondering if the o2 is filthy then It probably is not reading much of the exhaust passing by it. Would this make sense?
