on the buzzing sound like you have the key in the ignition still. i cant lock the doors on it unless i lock it on the outside with the key. buzzing sound stops when i shut the door. i put wd-40 on the ignition and still no luck. any ideas how to fix this? thanks

 

your ignition is bad, the power portion of it, only thing u can do it pull it apart and see what is going on and replace it,

yes i would pull it out and check to see what one is bad, the electrical portion or manical and replace it.

 

Mine's been doing that for a couple years now. I can get it to stop by wiggling it after pulling the key out. Sometimes I don't even bother. It doesn't matter whether it's buzzing or not, it's just a little annoying at times. The ignition switch itself still works right? And, like you said, it stops when you close the door. So who cares?

I'm planning on doing the "buzzer delete" mod eventually. So it never does that. Searching for it....it's around here somewhere...found it!
