i have a chevy 350 carb engine with 4 speed trans, that i want to put in my 85 4 runner, will be up grading axles too. but i want to know what i have to do to make the 350 bolt in such as engine mounts and stuff. comon problems swaping in the 350?? not looking to spend money, im a good welder and fabricator , and have done engine swaps before. just want to know tips on what i have to do before i really get into this and start running into problems. this rig is strictly off road toy.

make motor mounts and tranny mounts possibly cut firewall

 

Are you gonna be able to keep the stock tranny or are you going to have to get a new one
