I would check compression.....or any of the things listed above for that matter. Dont give up till youve tried everything.

Tensioner gone bad and timing belt jumped? My bet is your timing is off.

Checked codes??

If no codes, compression okay, timing belt & ignition timing okay, good spark and fuel pressure, then computer must not be firing injectors. Check that they're hot when ignition on. Check that ecu terminals #10 and #20 are hot when ignition is on. See page EG2–194:

Where are you spraying the starting fluid? Make sure you don't have something blocking your intake either/air filter and that the VAFM door swings.

had a mechanic check compression as i havent the tools to do that, or so he said he did.

for the starting fluid or sometimes just gas lol i would pull off the pcv inlet into the intake hose and spray there.

afm door works and kicks on the pump when i open it, after cranking i can hear it flapping so its fine

havent had the chance to check the belts, or the dizzy for that matter, will do as soon as i get the chance, but i have had the truck run once for a little bit then soon shut off and wont start.

with IGN on the injectors are hot and # 10 ad 20 are hot, if i manually ground them i can hear/feel the injectors hit.

dont really have a fuel pressure tester either but the cold start kicks on as it should, and if i loosen the banjo bolt some it sprays fuel EVERYWHERE so i am assuming the pressure is good, havent checked FPR tho.

also the plugs are new and get great spark

i noticed when i pulled the ecu out it does not indicate 4X4 on it, would this have anything to do with it running? the truck is manual if it matters.
