22re engblder street sv head and 261c crawler cam

I have a 87 4runner with 22re.. i have put the street sv head and crawler cam... i have just got a header for it but have yet to put it on.... im having some power loss with regular gas but when i run Injector cleaner in it or mid grade gas i no longer have the sluglish proablem.. i went form 23mpg when i had the head put on to now about 17. i have tweeked the air flow sencer a little and had that power gain but now i have lost that gain.

what can i do to fix the problem with powerloss and mpg loss?

Timing? I usually get around 15-17 with my 4runner on 35's with dual cases and I've got that same cam and a NWOR header.

Check your timing, or call engine builder and ask what he recommends for timing with the head, cam, and header installed. It would also be a good idea to run at least mid grade gas with your new set up.
