does anyone have a link on how to tighten up the dipstick tube after you move the tube to the correct place (3.4 swap)

it has play in it. lots

me and Murphyz can not figure out how to get rid of the play in it. the tube is just pressed into the housing and looks to be held in by a little o ring... is that all that stops a leak?

Yes just that Oring. When you actually mount the tube to something it will then be tight and not move around. It has to be supported along the tune. I had to weld up my own bracket.

From: Bryan Tx,
Thanks man, I like what you did with yours and will steal that idea if you don't mind ,LOL. I ended up replacing the O-ring and making a quick bracket for temporary. I figured that I would wait until I had the 3.4 in the truck before I made any nice brackets just in case I ran in to any clearance issues.

No problem. Just be smarter than me. If you look closely you will see that I did not do a very good job of thinking about how the hell I would turn the bolt holding it on. It was a slow process. I would make the tab more accessible to a socket.
