adhesive for new intake manifold gasket?

adhesive for new intake manifold gasket?

do i need to use an adhesive when installing new intake manifold, chamber and egr valve gaskets? if so what kind? thanks

I dont recall the fsm calling for an adhesive, should just be gaskets...search for fsm on the forum and look for the link, you will be able to confirm your question via the fsm

i cleaned the heck out of the surfaces with acetone and kinda just pinned them(i think there's a stud or so) on there and all went well.

i will say....i had my EGR on before my intake gasket and the gasket had a piece on it for the EGR but it was too late......so my EGR is on with a smear of black RTV
