SR5 cigarette lighter wiring?
I have an SR5 cig. lighter (from a '94, with the light) that I want to put in my '86. The basic cig lighter just has two wires, a positive and a ground (I think?), but this one has four connections in the harness. I think from looking at the unit I can tell what is my basic positive and ground, but I'm not sure what the other two are. I assume they make the lights go on.
I've been looking at wiring diagrams and FSM's, but none that I've found show four wires coming from the cigarette lighter, just the basic two. Does anyone know what these originally connected to?
Or... since I'm new to wiring and slowly testing things out... any ideas on what wires/circuits I should look for in my '86 dash to connect these two "light" wires to? It seems that I could just treat them as two more positive and ground wires, which seems easy enough, and the lights would always be on. Would I short anything out by combining the wires? Or it would be nice to put the lights on the light dimming circuit, so they come on and dim with the other dash lights. Where's the best place to tap into that? The fuse box? The dimmer switch? Someone suggested the radio, but in the wiring diagram I don't see a light dimmer circuit connection...
Thanks to iamsuperbleeder for the idea and a little help already.

I put one in my 86 4Runner, the cigarette lighter is not a direct swap, you will have to modify the green part that lights up to make it fit. For the wiring i just tapped into the light for the heater control.
