I just finished doing the Headgasket on my 87' 22re, 4runner, and it seems to be smoking more than it should. I have done several headgasket jobs lately including my old 94 4runner 3vze, and I usually get a bit of smoke innitially when I first start up the truck, to get things cleared out, but this seems excessive to me. I am new to the 22re club, so maybe someone here can enlighten me. I'm guessing that the timing may be off, like an idiot, the only thing I didnt mark in disassembley was the distributer, what other areas should I be looking at.
