Talking Aftermarket fj80 coils in 2nd gen 4runner.

So just a thought I was thinking of a way to get a good 6-7" lift in the rear of my 95' runner. All the bracket lift's tend to stop at 4" for my rig and alot of people suggest using fj coils.

So my thought was maybe using aftermarket 2" lift fj coils along with the bracket lift to get the hieght ride and articulation. Since I'm not sure how much stock fj coils lifted a 4runner but from what I've seen it looks to be 4-5" and I don't like the idea of using 4" coils and 2" spacers I was just wondering what people thought of this idea.

Thats what I was wondering so is my only option if I want to go LT with drop bracket in the front. To go to leaf springs in the rear? I'm following nates LT build and want to do something similar but I'm 2nd gen so I was just kinda stumped on the rear end.

Thanks again for any ideas anyone might have.

I think the coils you need are OME860/861/862
the higher the number is meant for a higher load for the FJ80.
Ive got a pair in my truck and there about 3-4" over stock height, ive seen a 2nd gen with OME860's replacing the procomp 4" lift coils i thought it looked alright
