First off all this is going to be a pretty slow buildup, between work and college i don't have to much time(or money) to work on it.
Anyways, i picked up a 85 toyota not to long ago for a trade for a quad.


This when i had just picked it up. It ran, and drove, i just didn't wanna drive it all the way home so we trailered it. It had a newer 22r and newer 5spd in it. Had some 4"? springs up front, and some dorky 7" springs out back.. Was sitting on some 37x14" iroks, that was about it. The first thing i did was take those awful looking fender flares off the back, lol..

Next I took a leaf out of each of the rear packs, hoping it would soften them up a bit. It did, and dropped the rear down about a inch or so.. Eventually i'll get some all pros..

I then ordered 1 1/2" wheel spacers for up front, since the tires rubbed on the leaf springs. A week or so later i got spacers for the rear to match.


I also mounted some lights up on the roll bar just because.. And threw a CB in the at the same time.

The steering was in pretty ruff shape, the tie rod was F'd.. So i opted to switch over to hysteer.. Money well spent none the less.



With the hysteer all done.. I also got 5" shackles up front that levels it out pretty good.
I put on a header, and almost done putting my weber and offenhauser intake on, i should finish it up this evening after school.. Threw in a 10" rockford sub and amp to for some tunes, and 6.5's in the doors.

Future mods:
-New leafs in the rear and long travel shocks.
-Extended hoops up front and 12" shocks
-5.29's and a lunchbox in the rear
-Nice front bumper
-Eventually i would like dual cases.
