Unhappy 93 4 runner strange grinding noise from left front after wheeling

Okay some back ground I tried searching but only found one slightly similar issue. I took my 4runner out to a local park to go wheeling I went through a puddle about two feet deep, and I climbed on some rocks. I did hit one harder than I wanted to and popped over it have video if needed. That afternoon I started hearing a grinding noise as i was driving forwards. The noise comes from the left front and sounds like turning a warped rotor on a lathe it makes a ssssk sssssk ssssk ssssk noise as the wheel turns applying the brakes seems to make it louder and it goes away when turning left. releasing the brakes it does not go away. it gets much louder when turning right. I know I need to pull my tire and search for any sore thumbs. I'm basically looking for some direction on where to start. I only have a limited access to tools and ill be doing this outside so quick is key Thanks in advance

Pull the wheel & take a look. Hard hits while accelerating are HARD on driveline components.

At best, maybe just a rotor issue. At worst, you've bent something.

Agree with TNRabbit, focus on the front caliper and particular retaining spring. You may have debris within the pads or worn pads. While in mucking around in their make sure you tire isn't lose. Nothing worse then finding out the wheel bearing is worn while on the road and between the ditches.

well i pulled the wheel off and nothing looks out of the ordinary I removed the caliper and thoroughly cleaned everything up. Didn't fix the noise, so I'll be tearing apart my hub tomorrow to hopefully solve it before this weekend. Off hand how bad is the hub to get off?

DONT!
The noise.
Your spindle is dry.
Search on the forums for "spindle lubricator"
You need grease on the inside of your spindle or the bushings get dry and the CV just chirps away.

Lol.
Take some 2" PVC and a cap, and put a grease zerk on the cap.
load the pvc full of grease and slip it over the spindle.
Pump grease through the zerk until grease comes out of the back.
Repeat on other side.
