My truck has a W-56 forward shift. I cannot find any local and none for less than $1200 rebuilt. I am not going to try to rebuild mine cause I know my limitations. What other transmission will work in my truck. Bolt right up.

In terms of bolt right up, only the 89-95 W56 will bolt right up

 

your best bet would be to get a w56 for forward shift. G58 is for top shift.
