SDORI IFS brace

I got my IFS brace from SDORI this morning. I guess it was

delivered yesterday, but I got home late and didnt see it

sitting outside. It looks awesome, everything is welded

nice and neat. Looks way beefier in person Can't wait to

get outta class and put in on.

It needs a coat of paint. What color should I paint it? Any

ideas guys?

Powder coat!!!!! dont go with paint, especially under the truck. Powder is more durable and comes in a million different colors and textures. Cost to have it done should be reasonable (depending on where you live).

Just did my plenum

as well as brackets and stuff.

What color is the truck? What color are the skid plates.....

And the best part is that once it gets chipped from being UNDER THE TRUCK getting hit by ROCKS and junk, rust gets under the powder coat and eats your new brace

Rattle can it your choice of fun, bright, and annoying color, and touch up as needed.

Keep the powder coating on the show trucks, or you can go all out and get it chromed lol

That intake looks good btw, the blue is different and stands out. Do like.

Paint it black with spray-on bed liner.

" These are made from .25" steel all around and are very strong. The frame brace comes powdercoated black with all necssary hardware."

IMO waste of paint if it already comes powder coated. either way the powder coating and/or paint you put on it is gonna get chipped and scratched. Just wait till you wear the powder coating off then think about painting it.

or take it to a bed liner shop and ask them to "rhinoline" it. don't use the spray can / roll on stuff though.

I know it was powdercoated black, but it seemed to easy to just put it on, so I wanted

to paint it. And I have many cans of different colors from back when I used to paint. lol

Painted it red, when it gets chipped, maybe I'lll paint it OD green. Thats one color I

didnt have. I'm really laggin on putting this in, its the weekends. I'll probably wait til tmo

put it in.

Yeah we powerder coat this but feel free to paint it whatever you want. Just scuff up the powerder coat with some 400 grit and it should paint up just fine.

There's no harm in extra rust protection and as mentioned, it will get scraped up on the trail and need to be touched eventually anyway.
