Need a plug for power steering pump

Hi guys. First time here.
I am using an early 80s Toyota pickup power steering pump and steering box on my 54 Ford pickup project to add power steering. There is a fitting on the pump with vacuum hoses that I believe go to the carb. I want to plug it but cant find a correct plug. I tried an inverted flare to AN adapter with a cap. The inverted flare would not make a seal against the mating surface in the pump. The threads bottomed out before the sealing surfaces made contact. Any ideas about the correct plug I need? Thank you
Bob

You might be able to find a plug at the parts store, or use a very short bolt with a copper washer or something similar and that should work. Just remember the threads are metric.
