Lost every gear but fourth?

This morning on my way to work in my daily driver (82 stock sr5 4x4 with a reman tranny but no clue how many miles 144 on the truck) I was cruising along in fifth. All of a sudden it just went into like neutral and had no noises or anything. I down shifted into fourth and drove to work. I have no gears at all but fourth and that includes reverse. I have never been inside a toyota tranny but to me this sounds like a keeper on the countershaft let loose and let the gears fall out of place or a shift fork issue. I can't see that though since I was just cruising along. What do you guys think? Thanks for any help.

time for a new trans. did you lose reverse too? if all you have is 4th, then your countershaft is somehow not connected to input or output and all you have is the input to output (1:1) connection, aka 4th.

If you had no noise I would have a look at it before getting another one. You may have lost a pin in the counter shift fork or something stupid. I don't know how else you would loose everything without hearing or feeling a chew, crunch, crunch......
