noisy compression spring for steering shaft

any one have this problem ??? know of a fix and or how hard to fix ??

If he's talking about the wiper for the horn switch, you just put a little electrical grease on it.

dielectric grease will fix it. Mine is noisy too. today's little project .

Yeah, I didn't even use dielectric. Just the same EP grease I use for everything else. Worked just fine.

Boy..I'm sure glad somebody figured that was what he was talkin' about. I've been scratchin' a hole in my head trying to figure that one out.

I kinda thought he meant the rubber cushion thing that's sandwiched in between the steering shaft and the u-joint where it hooks up to the steering gearbox.
