My dad has 1 1/2 jeep 1965 cj5's in my moms garage. He split a couple of years and I haven't heard from him since. He took them apart completely, to the point that one person could easily move everything by hand(except for the block). I was rummaging through everything the other day and took the spare tire carrier and am trying to figure out a way to use it on my runner and still be able to use my tailgate.

What do you think I might be able to use off those? Solid front axle? leaf springs? I was looking to do a SAS soon and am hoping I could use the front axle out of that....they looked pretty stock when they were together, enough lift to fit 31'' MTR's(he already sold em...damn!).

Im just crossing my fingers that they might be danna's or something...I'll have to see next time im over there

doubt much of anything will work unless you are a good fabricator and have a good 220 welder

That axlke is probably a drivers side drop.

why not try and put the jeeps back together? Sounds like a fun project to me.
