Tragedy in the knife world
I am big into knives, good quality knives, not just junk. Custom knives are just incredible.
Anyway, I just got news that the knife world has tragically lost one of its most prominent knife makers. Maker Rob Simonich was killed in a car crash last night, apparently returning from a hunting trip. Rob was a terrific man and a great knifemaker who, I believe, still hadn't hit his stride in knife making. He had just a mid-tech knife company about a year ago, and also started making some fabulous handgun grips for the 1911. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, but we had talked numerous times by computer. He will be greatly missed in the knife world. Please pray for his family.
