86 P/S gear box Interchange with??
HI Looking to swap out my leaky power steering gearbox. Was wondering what years are combatible with 1986 4x4 22rte. Ive read 86-94. Also read 86-89. Whas the real deal?

If you're in a bind a 90-95 steering box will work, but the long steering rod that goes into the firewall is too long. It'll work for a while, but that's because the rubber dampener compensates for the length. Hope this makes sense.
