i am looking for a 1979 toyota pickup front bumper ..i was bent and i painted my truck, and all i need a bumper ..if anyone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it . Also if anyone have a l-43 trans their are not useing ..i need the dust boot from the shift connect to the shift lever shaft ..or the whole side cover .my is leaking from here and my guy who does my hard work can't find the dust boots ..thanks

Have you tried a Toyota dealer for the L43 parts you need? I was able to get gaskets, seals, dust boots, bushings, etc. from my local Toyota dealer a couple of years ago when I did some work on my transmission. They had to special order the parts, but everything I needed was still available at that time. If the Toyota dealer can't help I'd call Marlin Crawler.

 

+1 on the Toyota dealer. Surprisingly the dealer had many hard to find parts for my 1981. I got a transmission dust boot from them (not the shifter boot) a few weeks ago. They even had one of those rear view mirror light covers. You will never find a good used shifter boot and no longer available from the dealer. I'm going to try a leather shop and see if they can make me a new cover for the shifter.

 

so they had the dust boots for the L43 transmission ..that is what i need . i'm going to call on monday to a dealer then .thanks

 

Ive got a bumper but its a lil beat up and Im in CO so shipping might be a pain
