distributor cap boot yes or no?

do you guys use the cap boot cover that came stock or did you ditch it? Some people told me to ditch it due to holding moisture?

eh, I leave it on. But mostly because it came stock. Yes, it does hold moisture and assorted junk in there, but if you took it through a large pond, wouldn't you at least attempt to dry if off afterward? Then you can just remove it so it'll dry off. either way, it's not a big deal unless it's causing problems. Then leave it off. That thing can't provide much protection.

I leave mine on but I don't really have a good reason for it...it's just that it came with the truck, so I use it. Moisture isn't too much of an issue around here.

I like mine, it makes me feel a little more protected from water touching the dizzy but I know it probably doesn't do too much haha

I think it should help quite a bit because I know that it doesn't kille my truck when I go thru big water holes where as if I don't put a bag over the distributer in my chevy it can bog me and kill it so in my opponion it's great and u can take it off easy enough to dry out and it's extra proctexion for the wires

I use it and it helps alot I Believe. Under the boot i coat around the plugs in Dielectric grease and all round the cap, then the boot holds in all in. Never had a problem with water in my dizzy or boots.

Well, depending on what you're looking for...

Lot's of good places in Montana and Wyoming, but they are also all very different. You've got your college towns etc., and your cow towns and all that. Helena's cool...but it's not for everyone. State government town, definitely. Bozeman & Missoula are the "fun" towns.

Helena has great mountain biking and close hiking trails and isn't crazy like the college towns, but there's still plenty to do, if you're not too concerned about seeing big name bands and having a ton of culture. I really like it. Wouldn't be too sad if I left for some reason, but it really is a good town.
