Price for a 2 in. lift

I asked at a 4x4 shop how much a 2in. lift would be on a 91, and they told me $479. I was wondering if that is considered a high price. Thanks.

Yeah, definitely high in my mind...unless that includes labor. A kit should run $200 tops, and can be done yourself. If you are not experienced and need help, I'm sure someone on the forum would come over to your place and work for a six pack, or parts, etc. As far as $479 for parts plus labor, that's not extremely high, just high (IMHO).

WOW! I think thats nuts! I got my 2" body lift for $80 and installed it myself, not hard just time consuming. only thing is you do have to know how to weld for the shifter extensions

Is that for a suspension or body?

Talk to Rober Brown for a BL, the install you could probably do yourself.

Red 59 what kind of rig your driving. I'm assuming for that price they were talking about some sort of suspension lift with new components. A body lift will get you 2" for cheap if all your looking to do is clear some tires or something. They have their disadvantages too though so do some reading. If you start getting new suspension parts the price goes up in a hurry.

Im planing to get a suspension lift. Im driving a 91 v6 ext cab. The guy told me they would just crank the torsion bars in the front. Im thinking I might do it myself.
