Temp Gauge Not Working 1986 22R

The temp gauge in the dash on my 1986 22R is not working. I don't know where to find the hardware or the fuse (if there is one to check) in order to fix the problem. Can someone tell me where these items are so I can fix it? Thank you!

FSM time!

Check for loose connections first, then maybe check resistance on the temp. sensor and then on the gauge. IIRC, the entire instrument cluster is ran off of one fuse.

Also, have you checked to make sure your coolant system is bled all the way?

Where is the sensor / wire? I don't know where to look.

I think my coolant system is bled, but I don't know how to do that or check that.

Would you, or anybody else, be so kind as post a picture of the sensor I am supposed to be looking at? I can't really make out what I am supposed to be looking for. Sorry! I can't make much out of the pdf file.
