No you wouldn't. Poor choice or not, you'd be hoping he'd give you your truck back.

I would feel like an ass if I kept that truck. I'd give it back.

a cruel world this may be... I would not give it back... why? because it was a legit trade... he could have said no, but didn't. it is now YOUR truck. and his is now the 4runner... it may be harsh and politically incorrect, but... he came out on top none the less.... lol

What I really love about CL is how whenever I've used it, we both walk away really happy, both sides get good deals. Got both my Runners off there.

And for the record, i agree with most people here. Karma will catch up with ya.

I would take him up on the deal and put the money towards your 4runner.

And it also may not be apparent to you, but nobody on this site will ever respect you if you screw someone over like that.

Some things are more valuable than money. Integrity, honesty, and a sense of fairness are among them.

Yeah.. fix up the 4runner. I have a love of 2nd gens myself... You could turn it into something just as capable.

OR, you could just give it back to the kid. Looks like if he gets it back he's got some cleaning up to do anyway...

I am noticing a trend here...
