installed OME 900's

I thought i would put up a couple teaser pic's. a friend and I put some OME 900's in my 91 4 runner. also the stock shock location was cut out and a new crossmember install for some 14 inch bilstien monsters!!!!!!!!!! and they feel awsome

I still had some room for more flex i was mainly useing the fork lift to make sure that the shocks did not bind on anything.
and the stock flex pic for comparison. . . .enjoy

Awesome flex so long as you don't drop a coil. For comparison, this is stock flex:

A locker goes a long way towards compensating for the lack of flex. I wanted a very good ride over rough terrain over maximum travel, so I went with OMEs. Its quite important to use Nitrocharger (OME) shocks with OME springs to get the most ride comfort out of the springs. Nitrocharger shocks are very soft relative to most other brands. THe OME springs are very stiff, so they balance out nicely giving a great ride. That said, Nitrocharger shocks don't get the best travel...

Another thing to consider is that the front doesn't flex well at all in its stock configuration. Having a really flexible rear and a stiff front (just me or does that sound dirty ) makes for an unbalanced feel to the truck. Unfortunately, there isn't a tonne that can be done to the IFS to make it flex well. It will flex "ok" if you disconnect the swaybar, add BJ spacers and slacken the tension on the torsion bars to eliminate any lift they give.
