can someone with a 96 4runner post a pic of the fuse cover/diagram. i just bought the truck and its missing it and recently the 4wd stopped working. so im trying to diagnose it. my friend has a 2000 tacoma but his fuse cover is slightly different from mine.
also i searched and couldnt find one for the 3rd gens

you should be able to find the wiring diagram for your 4runner with this LINK it will be down a ways but you can down load the entire factory service manual for 96-'02 4runners

This is the fuse panel located under the left side of the dash. This is referred to as the Intergration Relay. The fuze for 4WD is the 20A fuse located top center
