Weber 32/36,better than stock carb?

Weber 32/36,better than stock carb?

This is on my 85 22R shortbed truck 4x4, any improvement in gas mileage with stock tires and the weber?..193,000 original miles.

From what ive read here, those that have installed a weber carb have gotten better gas mileage and a slight power increase, but the only down side is that it take a bit of time to get it dialed in properly.

i have a weber on my 81 pickup but when i was buying it i was told by a worker at car qwest that weber sold there name to some asian company or something but the asian webers always require tinkering but i the weber you have is the same one i have and i really like it just make sure it was made in spain

the weber will give you better mileage and more power. just be patient while tuning it. And that, for the detractors, is in my honest opinion.
