T-case popping out of 4 low

T-case popping out of 4 low

I will go into 4L but it wont stay there it pops out and it doesnt feel like it full clicks into 4L what do u think is wrong? it worked before i took my transmission out...

Did you check to see if the shifter is hitting on the body at all? You may have to trim it out to for it to go in all the way.
