Rocker Panels and Dog Legs! Will they fit

Hey guys I have a 98 sr5 with rotted out dog legs and rocker panels. I have tried to look in all the junk yards but i am unable to find any in good shape.

I found a guy with a 98 limited and they are in perfect shape. Will they fit? I will need to cut them out and weld them in. Is it possible to put the plastics from the limited on the sr5?

Thanks
Bret

The bit of metal between the rear door and in front of the rear wheel well.

Here's a picture of one with the rust cut out already:

I am pretty sure the SR5 plastic and bumper ends fit together differently than the Limiteds. There is more plastic on the Limited so the bumper end piece is shorter. So you might need to take the rear bumper side pieces, too. That said, I don't know if there are any other problems or not.

Tofer.....Bought the 4 runner off a co worker for scrap cost...jsut had to fix some minor stuff. I live in NY and if it snows 1'' they coat the roads with salt. He told me that it was his wifes truck and she never took care of it and washed it so the rocker panels and the dog legs are rotted out as well as the bumper and the running boards....took those off though...but just to many spaces for rust to accumulate....

Makes me so glad to live in Washington.... People may not know how to drive in the snow but at least there isn't salt.

I went the other way with it. My limited is halfway being fit with Bushwackers. It can be done. The body is the same. you are going to have to put holes in the door for the plastic pressure tabs to fit in. The holes are square, so good luck on that. But its possible. There is a good chance some of the pressure tabs will break when you pull them off the other 4Runner, so be prepared to visit the toyota parts department for some expensive plastic.
