32/36 weber running rough at low rpms

ok heres the deal picked up a 32/36 with a coolant choke the other day hooked up everything and when i started it up it would just die but when i give it gas it smoothes out in the higher rpms ( about 2700-3000), at this point any imput will help, mahalo

if you dont have one, install a pressure reg. I didnt believe it either. Install one and set at 2 psi and all good

did you re adjust the mixture screws, idle screw and all that back to factory setting before putting it on the truck? what was it on before if not new? DId you use the lean best method of setting the idle mixture screws? Are you sure the jets are factory in it? Make sure you don't have any stray vacuum hoses left undone as well. That's all I can think of right now.

yeah i adjusted it to the settings i could find 1 and a half out on the mixture screw and 1 full turn on the idle screw once it touches the throttle, and with the vacuum lines its a 20r and the only vacuum line i got is the one comin from the distributor and it was working with the carb i had on before so i dont think its the vacuum lines but ill have a look and since i cant get a fuel regulator till friday i might as well have a look at everything else
